Due to the uncertain and difficult times arising from the COVID-19 pandemic prevailing at present, and in the interests of the health and safety of all concerned, we regret to advise that it has been decided to cancel this year’s ride. Further information and arrangements will be dealt with via email to all registered riders.

Registration Cost: $275- per rider (Families $225- per rider). As at 28/2/20 registration fee is reduced by $50- per person, but no cycling jersey can be provided.
The Ride Organiser will respond to your Nomination Form and advise payment options.
Powered sites are available for $90- (4 nights). Please remit with your nomination.

Cancellations must be in writing and received up to and including the close of entry (5pm, 28th of February 2020). If received on or before this date we will refund 80% of the paid fee. After this date no refund is available.
CONDITIONS OF RIDE
Please read the following conditions of entry for the ride. I understand that participating in the Lions Children's Cancer Institute Fun Ride involves riding on public roads used by other traffic and I am aware of the potential risks in undertaking this ride. I will ensure that I/my child is adequately competent to participate in this event and my/my child's bicycle is in sound roadworthy condition and I/my child agree to wear an approved bicycle helmet at all times whilst riding. I agree that I or my child will abide by the rules of the road and follow any directives issued by the ride organisers, police or main roads personnel. I release and indemnify the ride organisers/sponsors, the Lions Club of Kallangur and others involved in organising the Lions Children's Cancer Institute Fun Ride from all liability, claims and costs whether in negligence or otherwise in connection with the participation of myself or my child in the ride. The organisers reserve the right to change the route or any published information about the ride without prior notice to the riders, The organisers reserve the right to refuse participation in the ride to any person for any reason whatsoever even though the person has paid the required fee. Organisers are under no obligation to refund monies due to dissatisfaction, changes or cancellations. Any conduct which in the opinion of the organisers may result in harm or damage to other riders or their property, the use of bad language, criminal activities or any form of unsociable behaviour may result in exclusion from the ride without a refund. I acknowledge I am in good health and physically capable to train for and complete the ride. I have no known medical condition that could affect my safety or the safety of other participants. I agree to refrain from taking or consuming any alcohol or other substance which will affect my ability to ride on the road.
I agree to any photographs or images taken of me/my child during the course of the Lions Children's Cancer Institute Fun Ride being used by the organisers, sponsors or those otherwise associated with the ride in the future promotional material for the Lions Children's Cancer Institute Fun Ride or the Lions Club of Kallangur.
Participants 16 years and under must ride with a parent of guardian.
The purpose of the ride is to raise funds to help further research into finding a cure for the dreaded childhood Leukemia and Cancer. As such it is expected that each participant will raise a minimum of $300. A fund raising authority will be provided.
Hotel/Motel accommodation is an optional extra and must be booked and paid for by the participant in addition to the entry fee.
Your registration fee will cover the ride costs and the donations you receive will support the valuable work done by the Cancer Institute Australia.
